Retrofit Case Study: Cambridge HTHV Heaters vs Direct Fired Recirculation

In Fairmont, WV, a manufacturer with a 160,000 ft2 building faced a challenge. They were using direct-fired-recirculation units to heat their facility, but this resulted in uneven temperatures, high operating costs, cold dock areas, and maintenance headaches. They knew they needed a solution that would not only reduce their energy consumption and carbon emissions but also save on annual operational costs. That's when they decided to turn to the Cambridge S-Series. Choosing the Cambridge S-Series proved to be a game-changer for the manufacturer. The Cambridge system provided more even temperatures, warmer dock areas, lower operating costs, and lowers maintenance costs. Depending on whether your unit has filter sections, inspections should be done two or four times a year. In this guide, we'll cover crucial tasks like checking air filters, greasing bearings, inspecting belts, and more. By following these steps, you'll extend the lifespan of your equipment and optimize its performance, reducing energy costs and minimizing downtime.
